The company first started in November, 1971 with two of its products and sold half-million dollars worth within its first full year in business. BG purchased the Wichita facility in the 80s and now has its own research laboratory and proprietary manufacturing processes which enabled them to develop new products. Since then there have been exceptional milestones along the way and BG is now world leader in the manufacturing of a broad line of professional automotive chemicals and conditioners. BG Product Inc., is an ISO 9002 certified.
BG Product Inc., manufactures specially formulated chemicals, tools and equipments for professionals in the automotive industry which conforms to the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards. They ensure maintaining the operational systems of today's and tomorrow's vehicles and claims complete deposit control to be the core of their business.
BG Products were first introduced to the sub-continent by Sikand Standley Ent. Pvt. Ltd. which distributed its products in India, where it achieved immediate success as the workshop and vehicle owners enjoyed superior CSI and performance respectively. BG was the talk in workshops throughout India and was approved and recommended by TATA and Maruti to all their authorized service station.
BG Nepal first tested the products in March 2009 with various make of vehicles such as Opel, Chevrolet, Subaru, Maruti, TATA, Mahindra, Toyota & Hyundai. The results were phenomenal and further study of the products enabled us to believe that these products can make an exceptional contribution to the automobile maintenance approach in our country. BG Nepal was officially launched on the 15 November, 2009 with Vijay Motors as its first client where the products and equipments were setup and implemented. BG Nepal being the sole distributor of Nepal has setup sub dealership at various locations in Kathmandu valley and will be expanding outside the valley in near future. BG Engine Flush
Keeping Your Engine Clean
A) We know that once the engine is run over a period of time there are a lot of deposits (sludge) that get accumulated in the piston ring belt, hydraulic lifters, rocker arms and other critical engine parts. These deposits must be removed to restore the power and performance of an engine and prolong the life. Engine Flushing is the complete removal of these deposits along with the used engine oil during an oil change.
BG Quick Clean for Engines is the chemistry used for the engine flushing. Engine flushing is done at the time of servicing (before replacing the engine oil) and is recommended at every alternate servicing (10,000Kms interval).
Q) Isn’t regular draining of the engine oil sufficient for removing the sludge? Why is flushing required?
A) If you have ever seen your vehicle being serviced, you must have noticed that the method for replacing the engine oil is by opening the drain plug and leaving it for a while then replacing it with new oil. Well, this is the conventional method and has been followed over the years but the recent research shows that this is not the best method for the engines. When we manually drain the oil because of the viscous nature, only 75%-80% of the oil is drained and the remaining 20% of the used oil remains in the engine at various parts. Now when we replace with the new oil the remains of the used oil degrades the quality and brings down the life of the new oil. The vehicle owner not being aware of this continues to run the vehicle for the same interval as prescribed by the manufacturer. This process continues and by the time the vehicle is slightly old it starts exhibiting problems of various degrees.
The solution to this is using BG Quick Clean for Engine (Part No: 105) before draining the oil as directed by the BG Professional. This will reduce the viscosity of the used oil and sludge significantly and make it free flowing like the water. So now when the used oil is drained, complete draining takes place cleaning the engine.
This is the difference which has been adopted world-wide to the conventional method of engine oil replacement for better performance.

BG De-Carbonization
Optimize your Vehicle's Performance
Q) What is a BG De-Carbonization? Why do we need it?
A) Firstly, let's break down what the term "De-Carbonization" really means. Basically, when we say de-carbonization we mean removing the carbon build up within the engine.
Automotive engines today are more efficient than they have ever been. They have higher power to weight ratio and use less fuel even when cruising at high speed. Because they are so efficient and finely tuned, their performance can easily be ruined by a buildup of deposits and dirt in the fuel system. The engine's sensors and computer modules may be working properly but if there is a physical barrier stopping the fuel from reaching the combustion chamber, there will be a loss of power and performance.
We also have situations when the sensors and modules detect that there is a disturbance and make adjustments to compensate it but in so doing lose power and performance (e.g. combustion chamber deposits cause pinging and the computer retards the timing which reduces power and performance).
Carbon is the leading factor for the following symptoms in all engines,
2 Rough Idling
3 Hesitancy
4 Poor Acceleration
5 Loss of Power
6 Excessive Fuel Consumption
7 Increased Emission
